May 10th, 2000

We passed some major inspections. We finally passed the framing inspection which was delayed because of drawings that were needed from the engineer. Now that these inspections, along with plumbing, electrical, and A/C, are completed we can now concentrate on wall and ceiling coverings.

The roof shingling can also begin. The crew is working hard to meet our Memorial Day Deadline. We need to get our Certificate of Occupancy the week of the 22nd.

Drywall and tongue and groove wall coverings are underway and all the interior windows (except the great room windows) have been trimmed. Cindy and I are please with the job they did on the windows.

We also have stairs! This past weekend was the first time we went upstairs without using a ladder.

More next week.

Thanks for being part of our dream.
