May 3rd, 2000

Well more and more this place is starting to take shape. We hope to move in Memorial Day weekend. So the builder is busting his hump to reach that goal. More interior work has been done. Parts of the steel I-beams have been covered in knotty Tongue and groove. The stairs are under construction and will be finished this week. Some of the drywall has been installed in the closets and on Thursday our kitchen cabinets will be delivered. The doors and great room windows have been installed and the doors will all have their hardware installed as well. We failed our A/C inspection and hope to be re-inspected on Friday.

We met with a company regarding seeding the septic area. Typically people use sod to cover their septic areas. The sod used is St. Augustine grass, which I hate. It's very hard and course. We are seeding our area with bahiagrass which is much softer and thinner than the St. Augustine.
Our well pump and tank is being installed. We need that so that we can water the seeded areas.

We will be on site Satuday and Sunday keeping on top of things.

Thanks for being part of our dream.
