April 3rd, 2000The roof dry-in is complete. All the roof paper has been put in place and the next step will be the shingles. They have almost completed the downstairs stud walls which gives us a great view of what the rooms will look like. The installed the upstairs floor and we were finally able to go upstairs (via a ladder) and see what the view from our bedroom and from the loft will look like. It's incedible. The plumber and electrician began their work, and have a good portion completed. They began caulking the logs inside and outside. These next few weeks will move really fast. once the logs a caulked, they must be stained and sealed. Once that is done, the windows and doors can be installed. It getting more and more exciting.
